The Maranoa Business Awards are proudly presented by Roma Commerce and Tourism Inc (RCAT), an organisation dedicated to supporting the region’s business community through networking, advocacy, education, information, and promotion.
RCAT works to build a confident, knowledgeable, and connected business sector—one that underpins a strong and sustainable regional economy. Local businesses are not only the commercial heart of our community, providing essential goods and services, but they also drive local employment and regional growth.
Now in its 13th year, the Maranoa Business Awards celebrate the talent, resilience, and achievements of our regional businesses, whilst highlighting the lasting benefits of supporting local. The Gala Awards Ceremony will be attended by over 250 guests and serves as the region’s premier celebration of business excellence.

HOW IT WORKS
From nomination to the night

Nominate
Business categories are self-nominated - put your own business forward. Customer service is nominated by someone else on your behalf. Either way, complete a short submission about what makes you special - it takes minutes and there's no cost.

Voting and Judging
Independent judges review every entry and interview all nominees and voting is undertaken for customer service awards.

Finalist Function
Finalists are announced and celebrated at the 2026 Sharpe Engineering Finalist Function - the first taste of the spotlight.

Gala Dinner
Winners are revealed on the night, Saturday 10 October, in front of 250+ of the region's people, along with a star guest speaker.
